Pony
The Tail.
In this video I demonstrate how to build a
controller that will accept any form of dynamic or simulation that can
be assigned to a mesh object that will in turn drive a rig set up made
up of bones and in the case of this tutorial a set of ponytails.

Bat
Wing Rigging.
This video takes advantage of some new features
found in Max 8. Although I use and rig a wing to a bat character the
same technique can be used on a dragon or expanded to
included any winged character.

Assembling
Morph Shapes.
Demonstrated is a technique for assembling complex
morph shapes. Under examination is the myth that shapes require the same
number of vertex's by demonstrating that post assembling offers enhance ability.

Building a Muscle System.
Using
the skin wrap modifier available in Max 8 I'll be demonstrating a couple
of ideas on how to build a very effective muscle using Max bones as well
using primitive objects. Run Time

Character
Studio to Motion Builder. In this video
we take a Character Studio biped, make a few changes and apply Motion Builders
naming convention and export it out of Max and into MB and automatically
characterize on a control rig. Run Time

The IFL Format Explained.
One of my oldies but goodies. The IFL file format is a handy dandy guy to have around and you can use it to create animated textures. As an example I demonstrate how to make a character evaporate.

Setting Up An Unattended Render.
One of my first tutorials. In this tutorial I’ll be demonstrating how to set up a network render on a single machine. The benefit of going this route on an unattended render is even if Max was to crash the network manager would pick up from where it left off.

Spline Modeling On The Fly.
Just a quick modeling on the fly using splines that I did as an example of how to model a hockey goal a while back..

Spline Constraint Rigging.
A simple tutorial on path constraint rigging. Another of my first tutorials that I had laying around that originally was intended as practice but after checking it out after all this time I figured someone would find the information useful.
